I have fished all over Alaska for the last 25 years and I have never caught as many fish as I have at Highliner Lodge. Just returned from my second trip June 11th and can't wait to go back next year. The personnel is first class and friendly. Save some of those big Halibut for me!!!!!!! This is going to be my third trip. I love this trip because its great for fishing Great fishing and great hosts. They take great care of you on and off the lake I have fished Alaska for over 20 years and have stayed at 3 different lodges. The highlander lodge is the best of the bunch, super nice people own and run the lodge, they have the best boats, best accommodations and the best fishing. You can't beat it. This year will be my 7th trip to their lodge and expect to bring home a lot of fish again, also they are the only lodge that I know of that has a special permit to take you to an area where you can catch 2 Halibut per day of any size, this is real important for those of you who want to catch Halibut.
